TAHDAY IS THA DAYYY!!
I am too HYPE to post today’s new release from my good friend (and shoulder I cry on about my writer woes) SHELLY ELLIS!
Shelly has been a staple in my reading life since I read my first Gibbons Golddigger novel. Been rocking with her ever since. Her characters are REAL (no fairy tales here!) and her stories are JUICY. Shelly writes the kind of books that you need a dark beverage and some popcorn to really set the mood.
So it is my pleasure to celebrate THE FINAL PLAY, the final installment of The Branch Avenue Boys series, one that is near and dear to my heart. I feel like I know Jamal, Ricky and Derrick and I am sad to see them go. But what an ending!
Note that this is book 3 of a series! Buy all three, then read them in order! Happy reading!
Read IN THESE STREETS (Book 1) and KNOW YOUR PLACE (Book 2) and THE FINAL PLAY (Book 3)

A few day ago, I sent an email that I have needed to send for a long time.
Suffice it to say, life is turning these men upside down and inside out and everyone in the near vicinity is affected. The way this book is set up, Ellis will bring you to the very edge… and leave you wondering, hoping, wishing and praying for the outcomes you need to see in the conclusion of this incredible series.A side note: Not a fan of cliffhangers? Aight, but buy it anyway. Then you’ll be ready when book 3 drops later this year!
I swept my clothes from the chair and heard a heavy thunk as something fell to the floor. I picked up my phone and pressed the button to wake it up. I’d put it on silent when I left the house the day before. The only person that could break through was my mother, but we’d already talked and I didn’t expect to hear from her.So seeing that she had sent me a text made my heart skip a beat. I hadn’t heard it because I’d left it in the living room.
He came by here earlier.
