But… something about Gibson, a do gooder attorney who’s the black sheep of the family, and Vanessa, a former exotic dancer just trying to divorce her husband and move on with her life, that pushed me to tell their story. I’m always trying to answer the what-if: what if a woman fell for her divorce attorney? (I actually got this idea from The Golden Girls- when Blanche asks Dorothy who was the first man she slept with after her divorce, Sophia says, “The divorce attorney. It’s always the divorce attorney. It’s the oldest cliche in the book!”)

*~* Blog Tour*~* By the Hour by Roni Loren [Promo & Review]

I’ve been ready for By the Hour since I read the last word of Off the Clock, so it is no surprise at all, that I clenched my fist and squealed finally!!!! when By the Hour was announced. Ya’ll know me, I’m a Roni Loren stan and she rarely if ever disappoints me. I loved the “real life” characteristics of the hero/heroine and the RAUNCH-EEEE sexy times that happen in this book.
All around, super enjoyable. Another hit for Roni Loren!

[Review] You Should Still Be Mine by A.C. Taylor

[Review] You Should Still Be Mine by A.C. Taylor

You Should Still Be Mine (Let’s Make Love Series Book 2) by A.C. Taylor on January 29, 2017 Pages: 270 Buy on Amazon Goodreads For way too long, Nina has spent her days loving a man that can’t love her back—at least not the way that she deserves to be loved. Headstrong and proud of the woman that she is, Nina knows her worth. But when it comes to Dallas Eagan, she finds herself losing sight of everything. Ready to let go of what she knows will never be, Nina decides to move on and put her past with Dallas behind her. But the second she embarks on her quest to find true happiness, she faces a drastic change—a change that forces her to question every move that she makes. Nina is everything that Dallas could ever want in a woman. She’s fun, sassy, and an amazing mother to their daughter. Without a doubt, she’s the only woman that truly holds the key to his heart. Unfortunately, he struggles to be the man that she wants him to be. For the majority of his life, Dallas has enjoyed the freedom of being with whatever woman he chooses, whenever he chooses. He answers to no one and he makes all the rules. But just like anything else, rules are made to be broken and when Dallas least expects it, that’s exactly what happens. Mistakes will be made and rules will be broken, but when the dust settles a decision will have to be made. Will Dallas and Nina put their pride aside and build a life together? Or will they allow past mistakes to ruin what could be? My rating: 4 of 5 stars I read this book over the weekend, after seeing it being offered for free on facebook/twitter. I. have. feelings!!! Okay, so first, I’m SO HAPPY I read this book because it is relevant to my current pursuit, which is my WIP, about a woman who used to […]
