I was tagged in the TBR Book tag by Read in Colour, so I’m going to give this a shot!

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

Now… some use their TBR to track books they own that they have planned to read. I don’t. At this point, my TBR is pretty much just a suggestion list.

I use Goodreads almost exclusively. I do have a wishlist at Amazon but that’s mostly to check for books that go on sale. I don’t follow it closely but ANYTHING that looks good gets added to my TBR.

Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?

The only print books added to my TBR get added there because I’ve entered a goodreads giveaway. They only give away print books. I’m not against print but I’ve been 99.9% digital for a few years now. I read more books faster when I read them via kindle.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

I get a lot of Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) because I am spoiled and I like reading stuff early. For much of the year, my next read is determined by the calendar. I note when a book is to be published and schedule a reminder two weeks out to read it and write my review. In between… whatever sounds good or whatever I’m in the mood for. Lately I’ve been reading a lot of crime/ suspense/thrillers to even out the sweet romances.

A book that has been on your TBR the longest?

Black Fridays (Jason Stafford, #1)- Added March 2013. Looking at it again I still want to read it, I just don’t know when….

A book you recently added to your TBR?

Just added last night and soon to be read- Lawful Deception (Vernetta Henderson Series, Book 5) by Pamela Samuels Young

A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?

Too many books on my TBR to answer this question… but I’m unashamed in my judging of a book by its cover. If the cover doesn’t strike me it doesn’t get read.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

Probably most of them, honestly. My TBR isn’t really a list of books I am going to read. More like a backup in case nothing new sounds good.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?

Like Read in Colour, I am stalking the ARC sites for Glory Over Everything. The Kitchen House was an AMAZING novel. Can’t wait for the follow up!

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

I have some Love Belvin romances on my TBR. They come highly recommended… just not ready for them.

A book on your TBR that everyone has read but you?

A book on your TBR that you’re dying to read?

If I got an ARC of Glory Over Everything, I would read that baby TODAY.

How many books are in your Goodreads TBR shelf?

499 as of this morning. I am constantly adding to it though so it won’t stay there and after today I’m probably culling it some. A few questions I didn’t answer because a) I don’t track what other people are reading and b) I’m just not digging through 500 books.
