But now it is November and it is National Novel Writing Month and I am actually writing. And I’m not saying things don’t suck, but I just don’t have time to worry about it, this month. That’s kind of what I enjoy about NaNo. There is NO TIME for that inner editor chick, so she’s tied up in the basement with a sock in her mouth. Sometimes. Because. I actually can’t help but edit. But not during my writing time.

Where Call on Me was more romance and love story, Break Me Down brings Loren back to BDSM at its core with a love story to soften the blow. Which I feel is only fitting since Domination has become a part of who Gib and Sam are. I had to go back to skimming and reading through my fingers….. but for the majority part, I LUH-HUVED this novel. Gib and Sam are clearly meant for each other and no matter how much each of them try to fight it, it can’t be denied. I couldn’t imagine either of them with anyone else… and I feel like they both needed someone who was strong and powerful but who could be brought to their knees.
A great read but uh…… come prepared. Roni doesn’t pull ANY punches in this one!
I am so glad this book is out and I can stop wondering and obsessing about Naomi, Noelle, Damion, Terry, Savi and the whole crew. This book is the final installment in the ‘If You Can’ series… an overarching story over three FANTASTICALLY suspenseful and sexy books.
I truly enjoyed this story of two headstrong alpha characters finding out where each of them fit together and making it work. And since this appears to be a series, I am already looking forward to the Gents book two!
It’s October, much to the joy of all the people I know who love sweaters and boots and pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING. For writers, October marks the crescendo of rumblings about preparing for November and the annual writing event National Novel Writing Month.
Today I am pleased to reveal the cover of Harper Miller’s next installment in the Kinky Connect Chronicles series! Please join me in MAD ANTICIPATION of Entwined, by Harper Miller!
Autumn Kisses is just the kind of short-yet- delightful read that I have come to expect from Te Russ. On to the next one! Winter Rendezvous is coming in December!
When Rowan Hunter begins to suffer from a bout of the proverbial writer’s block, his editor offers up his beach cottage in Martha’s Vineyard. Prepared to relax, unwind and pray that the words begin to flow again, he gets an unexpected surprise one evening.
To the world, she is known as the eccentric jazz singer Sapphire Woods. But to the small town of Oak Bluffs Massachusetts on The Vineyard, she is simply Laurel Asher, their best kept secret. In need of some time out of the spotlight to work on her next album, Laurel goes to the one place that’s always been home.
Thanks to a misunderstanding Laurel and Rowan end up under the same roof. As the house has more than enough room, they decide to share the place. But what neither of them expects is the sensual attraction that begins to build up. As the color of the leaves begin to change and fall to the ground, these two find themselves falling as well–for each other.
Simply put, I enjoyed this novel SO MUCH! Ruby is still my heart but snappy, able bodied, ‘let’s whip this thing into shape’ Mags (Pearl) is a loveable character in a family full of young women who each have a purpose and a duty. I REALLY can’t wait to see what Piper Huguley has in store for the rest of the Bledsoe Jewels.
HAPPY RELEASE DAY to one of my author frans, Christina C. Jones, whose 15th!!!!! novel was just released today. Entitled Love You Forever, it is the story of Sydnee and Harlan and some lovin’ and some good food. Centered around a family owned pancake house, LYF is sweet but tangy and will satisfy your hunger for more than pancakes and waffles. Yup, I’ve read it and YES IT IS GOODT!
