#FridayReads- A Tap On the Window, The Curl Up and Dye, Decadence

Is it bad that I have to open Goodreads to check to see what I am reading this weekend? I have so much going on, bookwise!

As I noted in an earlier post, I am participating in Conquer the Bookstacks, and in an attempt to a) Get to my Goodreads goal so I can extend it and b) take care of some reading that I needed to get done for NetGalley. I like to have the books read and reviews up just before or right after a book releases. I figure it’s the least I can do, especially if I really enjoyed a book.

This weekend I am SO EXCITED to finally read A Tap on the Window. Linwood Barclay is one of my new favorite authors and Tap… looks great!  I’m also reading The Curl Up and Dye by Sharon Sala which looks fun, and I’m going to try to start Decadence by Eric Jerome Dickey. His work has gotten really… steamy… in the last few books. I quietly admit I really liked his earlier work. Friends and Lovers and The Other Woman are among my faves of his, but I’m going to check out Decadence and see if I can finish it.

I’m also still digging through The Art of War for Writers. This book is good, but since it’s a craft book I am less likely to pick it up over a fiction piece. I do need to finish it, though I probably won’t finish it this weekend.

On top of all of this reading, I have a chapter to write for my serial, on going at *NSYNC-fiction. A Thin Line has been such a fun story to write about a character I feel like I know inside and out by now. It’s also been a great help for me to get back to writing, writing regularly and always striving toward writing well. All this reading isn’t hurting a bit either!

So what’s on your Friday Reads list?
